Rolypolymoly (known on the yard as Roland) is our lovely looking 2 year old gelding. As you can see, he is very striking and we are extremely excited about his career. He has already attracted a lot of praise from those around him and is coming along very well in his training. Roland’s racing name was chosen via a competition whereby we invited people to suggest names for him. Rolypolymoly was the winning name as chosen by trainer Adam and was suggested to us by Ngaire Simmonds.
Roland’s sire, Heeraat, was a smart 5-6 furlong sprinter at 2-4 – he won the Group 3 Hackwood Stakes at 3 years and is from an exceptionally good and family.
The dam, Elzebieta, is a dam of 3 winners. She is from a strong family with numerous Group and Listed winners. You can see more about Rolypolymoly’s breeding in the graphic below.
Roland had his first race at Salisbury on 2nd September 2021, where he finished 6th and ran a nice race. We are very excited to see how he progresses. We don’t currently have a video of Roland but once we do we’ll put it on this page.
